This August, The Mill hosts its first Design Fair. Three days bringing together Irish makers, designers, and independent studios, filling the mill floor with furniture, textiles, ceramics, and objects made by hand.
Built in 1840, the Mill has held many kinds of work over the years. Wool, then grain, then years of standing empty, waiting for the next chapter. This August it holds a new kind of making, with the river Mahon moving past outside, much as it always has.
